Overcomer
From: Inspirations
Jesus loves you so much, and when you fully realize all the love that He has extended to you.when you know that no matter what you do or what you go through, that He is there with you, then you will have the courage, strength, and love to do everything He speaks to your heart. His love makes all the difference for you know you are accepted in all things, in all ways. He will never forsake you. You are never alone.
Love is an excellent thing and a very great blessing, indeed. It makes every difficulty easy. It bears a burden without being weighed, and renders sweet all that is bitter. Love knows no limits, feels no burden, thinks nothing of troubles, attempts more than it is able, because it believes that it may and can do all things; for this reason it is able to do all, performing much where he who does not love fails and falls. Love is watchful. Sleeping, it does not slumber. Like a living flame, a burning torch, it tends upward and passes unharmed through every obstacle.
Whatever faults may be committed, big or small, whatever clouds may pile up on the horizon, dark and threatening, love will overcome all (I Corinthians 13:4-8). With His love holding you, you can overcome everything that comes against you, your loved ones and God’s Kingdom. His love will guide you and show you all that needs to be done and it will give you the strength to do it.
Motivated by faith Moses left Egypt behind him, being unawed and undismayed by the wrath of the king; for he never flinched but held staunchly to his purpose and endured steadfastly as one who gazed on Him Who is invisible (Hebrews 11:27). You must do the same. Look to the Lord.your Savior, your best Friend, your Lover, and your God. He has plans that He has made especially for you. Listen and He will show you.
And, just like Moses, you must strip off and throw aside every unnecessary weight, and that sin which so readily clings to and entangles you, and run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before you (Hebrews 12:1). Stay steadfast looking away from all that will distract to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of your faith and is also its Finisher. He, for the joy of obtaining the prize that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself, so that you may not grow weary, lose heart and faint in your mind (Hebrews 12:1-3). The Holy Spirit Who is in Him lives in you. And this same Spirit will help you make it through everything that comes your way. You are an overcomer!
