Lovely

From: Inspirations

Not in your own strength, for it is God Who is effectively at work in you energizing and creating in you the power and desires, both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight (Philippians 2:13).  The Lord is even now creating in you a new heart that follows after Him (Psalm 63:8).

Follow hard after Him, do not look to the right or the left, but keep your eyes looking straight toward Him Who loves you with a mighty love.  He will show you the path of life; in His Presence is fullness of joy, at His right hand there are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11).

He desires to give you an ornament of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a heavy, burdened and failing spirit – that you may be called an oak of righteousness (Isaiah 61:3).  The Lord desires you to show His beauty to the world.  He wants you to be full of joy.  And, He longs for your praises.  Just as you like to hear others speak good about you; so does the Lord.  And, He will come when you talk about Him.  When you praise Him, He will even do more for you.  For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him (II Chronicles 16:9).

When you declare His glory and His wonders, when you tell others about His goodness, love, and sacrifice, He will come in the midst of you and will show His glory.  So, enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with Praise (Psalm 100:4)!  For God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3).

Whoever is blameless and wholehearted in their ways is the Lord’s delight (Proverbs 11:20).  And, when the Lord delights in you, He will bring you into the land and give it to you, a land flowing with milk and honey (Numbers 14:8).  He is bringing you into a large place.  He has delivered you because He delighted in you (II Samuel 22:20).  How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news and peace and salvation (Isaiah 52:7). Declare His praises, and be beautiful in His sight!
